Final Build (That sucks... and actually does not suck at all!)
So with great regret I inform we have officially ceased development of Elonkorjuu - Live Harvest. Final nail into coffin was distrust towards ever changing Unity policies, though we have not actively work on game for a long time.
But yeah, we have moved into Godot and we like it. We were growing antipathy towards Unity and it's shitty design decisions already, so final nail was actually godsend. Godspeed to hell, Unity.
Here is last build we ever did (dated 03.03.2023), along with level editor. Have fun. It is not polished product either, but it is bit better than Ludum-build.
Sequel ??
Originally we thought about porting game into Godot and finishing it there. However, we do not think base is strong enough, limitations of EK are too strict to get much better game out of it. It is what it is, no need to polish turd-ish diamond. So we have started pre-production (using big words like wannabe-game dev I am) of sequel for it, stripping down most of the harshest limitations, reinventing what does not work and hopefully managing to keep all the interesting parts of EK-1. Expect to hear more about the game in year... ~3024. Until then, goodbye and keep yourself hydrated.
